Eileen Grace Assumes Associate Producer Role at Reagle

A “Graceful” Entrance in 2006

Longtime Reagle Players’ creative associate, Eileen Grace of Broadway and Radio City Entertainment, assumes her new role of Associate Producer with the group beginning January 1, 2006.

Ms. Grace brings a wealth of professional experience and expertise to her new position. Her extensive background will enable the theater organization to strengthen, energize and further solidify its bonds with the professional theater community in New York.

Grace brings skills as a performer, choreographer, teacher and director to her new duties as Associate Producer to Robert J. Eagle, current Artistic Director and Producer of Reagle Players.

The multi award winning group is about to enter its 38th season as a producing organization and recognized regional arts organization specializing in musical theater.

Ms. Grace is currently a Director-Choreographer for Radio City Music Hall.  Prior to assuming directing and administrative duties with that organization, she had performed as a Rockette for eight years.

On Broadway she appeared in the casts of 42nd Street, Will Rogers Follies (original cast member and dance captain) and in the international tour of My One and Only (with Tommy Tune).

Her television credits include The Grammy Awards, The Tony Awards, One Life to Live, The Today Show, Good Morning America, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Christmas at Rockefeller Center, The Kennedy Center Honors and The Late Show with David Letterman.

Ms. Grace’s choreographic credits include Crazy For You, No No Nanette, On Your Toes, Guys and Dolls, My One And Only, (for which she won 2 IRNE awards - for best Co-Director and Choreographer), Will Rogers Follies, Cabaret, Anything Goes, 42nd Street, Annie Get Your Gun (starring Andrea McArdle), Fiddler on the Roof (starring WBZ’s morning anchor, Scott Wahle), the World Cup Opening Ceremonies, and many industrials.

Her choreographic and co-directing credits beyond her various Reagle Players assignments have included Troika Productions, Branson, The Cape Playhouse, Ogunquit Playhouse, Shubert/New Haven, Gateway Playhouse, Candlewood Playhouse and Diamond Head Theater, among others.

She also choreographed the Radio City Rockette appearances on The Today Show, Jay Leno, Donnie and Marie, Oprah and the Columbus Day Parade.

As a teacher she has taught all ages, levels and styles of dance at such places as Broadway Dance Center and Steps in New York City.  She has taught creative movement in a variety of class models ranging from teaching inner city children to senior citizens at a convalescent center.

She also has taught at numerous conventions and workshops including the Rockette Experience Workshops and is the Artistic Director of the Rockette Summer Intensive Programs.

Ms. Grace was recently the recipient of the “Distinguished Alumni Award” from Point Park College in Pittsburgh.   This award recognizes outstanding alumni who have attained influential positions in and made significant contributions to their professions and their communities.

In 2002, she directed the Christmas Spectacular with the Rockettes in Chicago and appeared on Oprah where she made the dream of one woman who wanted to be a Rockette come true.

She was also the recipient of the 2002 “Dance Hall of Fame Award.”

Beyond assuming her new full time duties with Reagle Players, Ms. Grace will continue to work for Radio City Entertainment as a Director-Choreographer for the Christmas Across America shows.
